Here is our 9.9 run early in the day. Later, we bettered the time, achieving a 9.88 and then a record breaking 9.55.

ECC Evo Does 9.5 Quarter Mile!

After all the anticipation, we can now finally confirm that we have a 9-second evo again! The new setup including an all new 2.24 bottom end with GT42 – 1042bhp.
We recorded a 9.5 second quarter mile pass at Round 2 of the Irish Drag Racing Championship 2010 at Bishopscourt. This was the car’s first competitive outing since the engine build, and we are expecting more out of the car in the rest of the season.

Irish Drag Racing Championship – 17.10.09

Due to problems with the timing gear, we decided not to run our Evo VII. Some of our customers rang their cars, including Willy Mac in his RK Tuning skyline who won class 1. Congratulations also to Alan in the ECC/AMS Impreza who came 3rd in class 1.

Irish Drag Racing Championship – 13th September ’09

The ECC Evo VII has just set a new personal best time of 10.04 @ 141mph at the Irish Drag Racing Championship at Bishopscourt. This is the fastest this car has ever ran and we expect the car to be in the 9s very soon.

Evo v Sub v Skyline Event – July ’09

ECC narrowly missed out on first place in the recent Evo v Sub v Skyline event at Bishopscourt to Robbie Thornton’s Track/Drag Skyline of TDP. The Evo posted a time of 10.18 @ 137mph, just short of Robbie’s time of 10.10 .
The same day, ECC Customer Barry White now holds the title of fastest NA K20 Civic in Ireland, with only a few mods – ECC NOS Kit, Cone Filter & ECC Custom 2.5″ Exhaust System. Congratulations to Barry!
